Club Portglenone
Club Portglenone has an ambitious vision for the future of Roger Casement's GAC & Geraldine’s Camogie Club. We are dedicated to ensuring our games and the values they represent enrich the lives of all our members, families and the community we serve. We are committed to providing the best facilities for all our members.
Roger Casement's GAC and Geraldine’s Camogie Club welcome support from everyone for current and future fundraising activities for the club.
The focus of Club Portglenone is development of our facilities. It is not used for the day to day running of the club.
Contributions to Club Portglenone are different from GAA membership. Future development plans will require major financial backing. Club Portglenone has in the past and will in the future play a key role in securing finance, together with potential sources of grant aid.
What will the money be used for?
The planned future development of facilities has potential for a phased approach. Timing and sequencing of these phases would be subject to funding:
- Earthworks & enabling works
- Sports & Community Hub building frame construction
- Indoor 4G pitch & ball wall
- Building fit out
- Car parking
- Additional outdoor 4G / grass pitch
- Terrace stands
- Playpark & memorial garden
How does it work?
Members agree to subscribe to a monthly standing order. The most convenient way of doing this is by filling out the standing order form which can be downloaded and returned to the Club or any committee member or email to clubportglenone@gmail.com.
Right now we are appealing to Club members and supporters to get behind the scheme. To get further information on Club Portglenone contact us on clubportglenone@gmail.com.
