The club would like to place on record our appreciation for our Senior Scor team who have represented the club at county, provincial and national level for the last two years. The final, last Saturday in the Royal Theatre Castlebar, showcased some of the best talent in the GAA. The team consisting of Seana Agnew, Ryan, Eimear, Bronagh and Mairead Graham (with Roisin Kelly as a very able substitute) gave an excellent performance, which equalled the best in the country, but unfortunately were literally pipped at the post. To compete at this highest level requires a lot of time, skill and commitment and this is greatly appreciated by the club. The disappointment of the team and their families was testament of the pride they took in representing our club at national level.
Our appreciation also to Ciaran McDonnell who has revived the club’s interest in Scor and who has been the main organiser in all things Scor.
Go raibh maith agat.
